I'm just wondering if he ever left behind children?
I miss the man and I didn't even get to interact with him when he was around.

I believe he had a son and a daughter. And grandchildren as well!

Sadly they didn't approve of or support his YouTube career. I can't get them to get involved with anything to do with his online activities. His brother was much more supportive of it however as is his grandson. I get the impression that they felt it was frivolous and useless, what a shame, if only they could know the impact he had on so many people's lives.

That is sad. He definitely changed people's lives. If only they realised how much joy and companionship it brought him. I'm glad his brother and his grandson realise the importance of it. Peter certainly was a treasure.

My parents think the same of my YouTube activities. I can't believe that his children didn't support his YouTube career. If only they knew about all the thousands of people's lives that Peer changed, I'd bet they'd have a different ideal. But I'm also glad to know that his brother and grandson supported him.

That's dissapointing that they didn't approve. But I'm so incredibly grateful that Peter did what he did.

I got the feeling that his kids were the religious types who have a very rigid idea of what's proper and they thought that the whole YouTube thing was exploitative. Luckily for us Peter knew better and was willing to share a part of his life with us and he became a third or second or first grandad to many of us. I know that they were AWARE of what he did but I don't think they UNDERSTOOD it and obviously they never got to hear from those of us whose lives were touched by Peter in such an important way. I think it's their loss that they didn't get involved and share in what he was doing and know the importance he represented to so many.

YouTube is some ways can get exploitative, but only the user determines that. And yes, luckily for us Peter knew better and has made a huge impact... I hope one day his kids see that.

I wouldn't bet on it. I've been thinking, Peter entrusted me with a two dvd set called My YouTube Journey and I've been wondering if it would be appropriate to make it available on the website at this time. He never intended for it to be public, it contains a lot of material that has already been seen but, some hasn't. I have nobody to ask as to whether it would be prudent to post this for the public to view so I'm having a bit of a quandry about whether I should make it available. I'm sure his friends would like to see it but, I'm not sure if it's right of me to post it. I'd appreciate the thoughts of everyone here on this matteer.
Warmest Regards, Michael

Did Peter say anything specific about not wanting it to be public? If that was his personal wish then in my own opinion, maybe it could be best for it not to go public. However if he didn't specifically say that he didn't want it to ever be seen by the public, maybe you could post them as I know I along with many others would be very curious to see them. Just my thoughts.

He didn't come right out and say don't make this public, no, but he sent me these dvd's that he said he gave to his friends and family. So I'm not sure. kathy: Well hello there, it's nice to see you here, I hope you'll stop back frequently. Regards, Michael
